Third-Party Certification of Recycling Rates

In the past, StopWaste published a list of self-reported recycling rates from local facilities that process and sort mixed construction and demolition debris.  Today, an independent nonprofit organization, the Recycling Certification Institute, provides reliable recovery and recycling reporting for participating C&D facilities. RCI offers third-party verified diversion rates for facilities through its "Certification of Real Rate" (CORR) program and publishes the results online for public viewing.  As a result, StopWaste now relies on the RCI certification program to approve and verify recycling rates for C&D facilities in our area.
