Barbed Wire Fence Project
The ALAMEDA COUNTY WASTE MANAGEMENT AUTHORITY announces its intent to award the contract for the installation of barbed wire fencing on parcel 6 of its property in the Altamont Hills to:
StopWaste is seeking responses from organizations (including businesses, nonprofits, other entities) and individuals that can provide technical assistance and education to expand on-site composting and compost use in Alameda County. Audiences include (but are not limited to) farmers and ranchers, landscape professionals, public agency staff, and home gardeners. Entities offering services appropriate described in the Request for Qualifications are encouraged to submit qualifications documenting their experience. We highly encourage applicants from a variety of composting backgrounds.
Responses are due November 1, 2024, at 9 pm Pacific.
This Request for Proposals is issued by the Alameda County Source Reduction and Recycling Board (Recycling Board, or “Board”) to identify qualified proposals and consultants to perform a comprehensive financial review of funds raised and spent in fiscal years 2021/22 through 2025/26 as mandated by Alameda County Waste Reduction and Recycling Initiative Charter Amendment, popularly referred to as “Measure D”, and to monitor and report on compliance by the appropriate various agencies.
The Agency is requesting proposals from qualified consultants to conduct a comprehensive analysis to determine which Agency activities (projects and programs) are eligible for cost recovery through a regulatory or other fee authorized by Proposition 26.
