Under consideration is the expansion of the Reusable Bag Ordinance to cover additional retail stores, potentially including all retail stores such as clothing and electronic stores as well as restaurants in Alameda County.

We will be hosting a series of meetings throughout the county to solicit your input on expansion ideas and the reusable bag requirements. These sessions are open to all retailers located in Alameda Country.
