ReScape California (formerly the Bay-Friendly Landscaping and Gardening Coalition) manages the Bay-Friendly programs.

In April 2017, ReScape introduced Version 4 of the Bay-Friendly Landscape Scorecard. The scorecard lists the specific practices that contribute to earning the Bay-Friendly Rated Landscape label. The scorecard is the main tool used during the rating process to plan, track and document the Bay-Friendly practices a project team chooses to include in its landscape project. 

If you don't plan to have your project Bay-Friendly Rated, you can still use the Scorecard as a planning and tracking tool to help you create a high performance landscape.
