The ALAMEDA COUNTY WASTE MANAGEMENT AUTHORITY announces its intent to award the contract for the installation of barbed wire fencing on parcel 6 of its property in the Altamont Hills to:

Pursuant to section 9 of the Instructions to Bidders, there will be a three (3) business day period allowed for bid protests. Protests must be emailed to Arliss Dunn (adunn@stopwaste.org) and Ben Cooper (bcooper@stopwaste.org) no later than 1PM Friday September 13th, 2024.

NOTICE: Contractor shall not begin, and may not be compensated for, any work performed prior to the date the Agreement is executed.

The Alameda County Waste Management Authority (ACWMA) intends to enter into a contract to replace approximately 8,078 linear feet of barbed wire fence, two (2) barbed wire gates, and two (2) metal swing gates at ACWMA Patterson Pass Road property in the Altamont Hills east of Livermore.

  • A non-mandatory bid walk for contractors interested in bidding on the project will be hosted at the property Tuesday, July 16th, at 10AM, Patterson Pass Road (map)
  • Applicants may obtain copies of the bid documents below.
  • Sealed bids for this project will be received by Arliss Dunn, Clerk of the Board, at 1537 Webster Street, Oakland, CA 94612 until 9:00 AM on Wednesday July 31st 2024, at which time they will be publicly opened and read. The bid opening can be remotely attended via Zoom.
  • Bids must be made on the proposal forms included in the bid documents.
  • The sealed envelope should be clearly marked with the name of the project and the time of the bid opening.
  • Contracts will be executed by Timothy Burroughs, Executive Director of the Alameda County Waste Management Authority.
  • The ACWMA reserves the right to reject all bids.
