Eight Alameda County Companies Recognized for Waste Reduction Excellence
Oakland, CA—At a recognition event on May 25th, StopWaste acknowledged the recipients of the 2016 StopWaste Business Efficiency Awards, given for outstanding achievements in waste reduction. The winners—eight companies from around Alameda County—represent a wide range of industries and were selected for their leadership in reducing waste and increasing efficiency through waste prevention, recycling and composting, and efficient energy use.

Reuse Operating Grants Application - 2016-17
The Reuse Operating Grant Program is available for reuse projects in Alameda County who are in need of funding for staff salaries and supplies related to promotions, educational and outreach programs and/or collection improvements. There is a maximum of $15,000 per request, per year.
