StopWaste is requesting quotes from vendors that offer indoor green organics containers for Alameda County businesses, institutions, and multifamily properties. Two to three selected firms from this RFQ and their approved products will be placed on an Approved Products List.
On July 18, 2017, StopWaste held a workshop for the Repair and Reuse community providing services in Alameda County. The meeting was a follow up to one held in December 2017, and focused on a key action item – developing awareness around reuse and repair as well discussing potential options for an outreach campaign for reuse and repair entities.
On December 12, 2017, StopWaste held a brainstorming meeting with reuse and repair industry stakeholders to assist in the refinement of the Agency’s grants program for upstream efforts related to recovering, repairing and reusing consumable materials.
